The Nano biogas project sought to improve health and wellbeing of people living on low incomes who currently rely on solid and LPG fuel for cooking, heating and hot water. The research led to significant health improvements and savings through provision of frugally constructed biodigesters to produce methane gas and slurry fertiliser.
